Material: Eggshell, vinyl record, garbage bag, and wire
This dress was inspired by the mightiest Disney villain, Maleficent. The challenge of the project was the transformation from a 2D animation to a 3D dress, and meanwhile making it realistic, wearable, but maintaining the fairy tale characteristics. The concept of Maleficent’s dragon form is heavily brought to the elements of the dress: eggshells are smaller scales; broken vinyl records are bigger scales, back spikes, and the crown.
