#AMusicalAdventureOfDasBrothers​ after very long presents an original song, #MuskurateRaho​. It was written and composed in 2018 mainly for an ad jingle of Iffco-Tokio Insurance. The tagline of the brand is "Muskurate Raho" and this is why their tagline was intentionally used in the lyrics. We presented a rough draft of the song during an ad agency pitch to the client. After so many months, I finally made a multi-track recorded version of the song. This song is not just relevant as an ad jingle for the brand but also relevant for each one of us in real life too. They are not twins. Both of them are same (It's me 😀 ). The song was mainly created as an ad jingle for Iffco-Tokio Insurance. Later, I recorded and edited this as a self initiated project, done purely out of my love for creating music.
P.S: Please use headphones or good speakers as this is a basic recording done at home without studio monitors and any knowledge of audio mixing. This video was shot on Xiaomi MI Redmi Note 4 mobile phone.

They are not twins. Both of them are same (It's me 😀 ). I recorded and edited this as a self initiated project, done purely out of my love for creating music. This video is from the series, "A Musical Adventure of Das Brothers" based on the concept of "One man band".

This Mash-up/ Medley of two old Hindi songs is an instrumental cover in the key of C major. Initially I thought of using Harmonica/ Mouth-Organ as a lead but I could not play it very fluently, so I used Melodica/ Pianica instead as a lead instrument. Rest of the musical instruments have been used as accompaniment.

The first song, "Ae DIl Hai Mushkil Jeena Yahan - Yeh Hai Bombay Meri Jaan" has originally been composed by O.P. Nayyar for a 1956 Hindi Film, C.I.D. and the lyrics have been written by Majrooh Sultanpuri and sung by Mohammed Rafi and Geeta Dutt. The song was picturised on Johnny Walker.

The second song, "Bhanwre Ki Gunjan Hai Mera Dil" from a 1971 Hindi Film, "Kal Aaj Aur Kal" has originally been composed by Shankar Jaikishan, lyrics have been written by Hasrat Jaipuri and the song was sung by Kishore Kumar. The song starred Randhir Kapoor and Babita.

Guitar, bass guitar, keyboard / piano, egg shaker, khomok / gubgubi, drums and percussion with raw vocals adorn this little piece of music. A retro Hindi film cover song, "Kisi ki muskurahaton pe ho nisar - jeena isi ka naam hai" from a Hindi film, Anari, re-arranged and performed as an instrumental musical piece by Sonjoy Das and Neha Ahuja Das. Guitars (Rhythm and Lead), Melodica / Pianica and Kazoo adorn this little piece of music. A self initiated project done purely out of my love for creating music. It has originally been sung by Mukesh and music has been given by Shankar Jaikishan and lyrics by Shailendra.

I recorded and edited this just for fun. After this video, the idea of "One man band" struck me. Thereafter, I continued making several videos on the same concept of "One man band" with different songs/ music. This is one of my favorite tunes from Malgudi Days, an old and famous Indian Hindi language television series based on the works of R.K. Narayan. The TV serial was directed by Shankar Nag. Carnatic musician, L. Vaidyanathan composed the score. R.K. Narayan's younger brother and acclaimed cartoonist, R.K. Laxman was the sketch artist. The series was made in 1986 by film producer T. S. Narasimhan with Anant Nag as the lead actor. The T.V serial was released on DD National.
