近年來東南亞國家高速發展，今天的馬來西亞也跟以往有很大區別，因得天獨厚的多語言優勢，越來越多東西方國家也視馬來西亞為進入東南亞的一個入口。經歷了經濟轉型使馬來西亞逐漸重視中文，尤其從商業合作到藝文交流都能看見轉變。而不遺餘力投入於文化藝術的台灣，每年都舉辦各種大型的設計展覽和藝文活動，備受國際的肯定之餘，良好的環境下也孕育出很多優秀的設計創作工作者。

雙向設計交流論壇除了能深入了解到馬來西亞的多元文化背景和產業生態，更可以為台灣走出國際，進而在未來開拓更多跨國的產業合作機會。期許未來能凝聚更多元的設計能量，牽起更多雙邊合作的機會，一同搭建起台灣與馬來西亞藝文與設計交流的橋樑！

In recent years, the rapid development of Southeast Asian countries, Malaysia is also very different from the past. Due to its unique multilingual advantage, more and more countries in the East and the West also regard Malaysia as an entry point into Southeast Asia. After the economic transformation, Malaysia has gradually paid more attention to Chinese, especially from commercial cooperation to art communication. Taiwan, which has apply themselves to to invest in culture and art, holds a variety of international major design exhibitions and art events every year. It is highly recognized by the international community and has produced many excellent design and creation workers under this good environment.

In addition to gaining a deep understanding of Malaysia's multicultural background and industrial ecology, the Bilateral Design Exchange Forum can further expand Taiwan's international presence and open up more opportunities for international cooperation in the future. It aims that the future will be able to condense more design energy, provide more opportunities for cooperation, and build up a bridge over cultures & design between Taiwan and Malaysia!
