This purpose of this project was to create a Masthead and magazine cover to go along. I wanted to create a kids magazine that was based on cooking activities that children could enjoy also.This magazine cover was meant to be kid friendly and get parents buying for their young chefs.
A magazine cover inspired by a mix of children's and cooking magazines. This cover was meant to be fun and grasps the attention of children who would probably come across it in the grocery store with their parents.
I sketched out a general idea of what the layout of the magazine cover should look like. This sketch was meant to be the rough draft on placement, proportions, and overall layout of the magazine.
This image was manipulated using photo shop to combine the cupcake image with a snowfall background. The background was meant to flow harmoniously with the Winter theme of the magazine.
