T h e e x h i b i t i o n “Solid things” is a curatorial project of Diana Machulina and Arseny Sergeev. The curators invited participants to reflect on what can be called reliable things in our time. What can one navigate in the world of post-truth, political unrest, frequent shocks in the social and cultural field? What are those “solid things” on which we rely when we make a decision?
T h e i d e n t i t y of the exhibition depicts "solid things" and this is shown in typography. Each time the letters can move on the surface on which they are located. They behave freely, can touch each other, as if they were cramped, or, on the contrary, move away, forming a void. All additional information has a secondary role and should be adjusted, flow around the "solid things".
