The Atlas mountains and their sinuous roads are the way to lead to cross the country.
The maritime city of Essaouira, at the west coast of Morocco, has the best sunsets I've ever seen.
The magic city of Marrakech and its astonishing Djemaa el Fna square are the perfect stop to breath, imagine and get impressed by it smells and people. Only then, you are ready to continue the trip to Mezourga's desert and Erg Chebbi.
After leaving Marrakech and crossing the Atlas, the next stop before the desert are the Todra and Dadès Gorges. They are an unbelievable landscape to enjoy and photograph.
Finally, after four days crossing the country, the desert. The gorgeous Erg Chebbi dunes, near Mezourga. Sleeping at the top of a dune and waking up just to enjoy a unique sunrise in the desert, is absolutely priceless.
