CAFE LOISL
___

Visual Identity project created for a Viennese style Coffee House in the city of Honk Kong. After gathering information about the business and the legacy of the Loisl family and going through different ideas and concepts it was decided that for the rebranding project we would use the Loisl Family Crest as a point of reference.

BRANDING
___

As I started working on the project, it came to my attention that one of the key elements that the client had envisioned for her brand was to have some Art Deco element added to the project. So in order to keep everything looking clean and stylish a few simple Art Deco inspired lines and assets were created with the idea of having them be a second part of the visual language so that they wouldn't take away attention from the Logo and other important information.

Two different Business Cards proposals were presented, the first one with a more tradition design and a rectangular form factor, as well as basic quality intended features so that production cost would be kept down. The second proposal would increase production costs by having a custom special cut for the Business card as well as adding screen printing in both sides.

MENU & BOOKMARKS
___

The client had been working with a local artist for some time creating different illustrations that made reference to some of the beverages names served at the coffee house. So after thinking were could we add this artwork into the project, I started working around different ideas like maybe designing a special deck of cards, but since one of the things that people who visit a coffee house tend to do the most is reading books, the decision to create some bookmarks that would be given to clients at the coffee house was taken.

For the Menu everything was arranged in a certain order to leave space for the different illustration having the option of changing or adding new artwork in future.
