Pinna Podcast Artwork

Podcast art design for an original podcast by Pinna, a screen-free audio streaming service for kids.

Client: Pinna
The concept is built on highlighting the unique recipe of the lemonade, which makes it purple, in the title of the show. Supporting elements are duck footprints that belong to an ugly duckling on the show as well as a coin since the show focuses on financial literacy.
Proposed three concept directions: lemonade lettering, vintage label, and lemon-shaped lettering.
The client chose concept 1 for its playfulness (the target audience is kids ages 7-11) and focus on the unique coloring of the lemonade. Following this was revisions and color blocking. Since the duck is technically ugly, the brand did not want to prominently feature the duck appearance but rather hint at it. We moved forward with a teal background coloring and duck footprints.
