Wetland Boulevard integrates a commercial urban area with its ancient wetlands to connect people through time, place and the water. Additionally, Wetland Boulevard exposes the ancient past when the Wurundjeri people lived around the wetlands with its abundant water, flora and fauna. At last, it aims to remind us of the loss of the period’s biodiversity and to help us understand the importance of our connection to the waterfront.
