Well Well Well is a wine restaurant with open kitchen is placed in the former distillery factory building, built in 1903 in the historical center of Tula, Russia.

We have maintained architectural advantages of the space —  open brickwork of the outer wall, inner brick walls. The building was reinforced with concrete pylons, Monier vaults were replaced with contemporary concrete overlapping.

Open kitchen is placed in the center of the space, allowing you to watch your dinner being cooked.

Richard Gregory cafe illusion inspired us to experiment with this image on the horizontal surface. We used certain pattern, tiles size, thickness and color of joints to achieve needed effect.

To balance open space and cosiness we used lighting. For this project we’ve designed thin fiberglass sheets lamps, imitating Chinese sky lanterns, which crate warm ambient light.
