EL ARCHIVO
- A RETRO MUSICAL SHOW -
I made this motiongraphic proyect as an intro for a the tv show "El Archivo" by the broadcaster Canal 26.
El Archivo is a tv show that presents a huge collections of videos from 70's to the most recent hits in a large variety of genres. This fact inspired me to find an aesthetical basis in the syntwave imaginery, using VHS glitch, grids, neon lines and a very vibrant color lights. This matches perfectly with the VHS cassets (wich in fact, there are actually hundreds of them storaged in these broadcast company), and the Marshall speaker stilized logo.
I used Cinema 4d for 3d modelling and camera animation and rendered in Redshift.
Render passes was integrated in After Effects and some Trapcode particles was implemented by using camera tracking.
