Hakawy French Coffee

Hakawi French coffee l package design
Hakawi is a brand that produces beverages and nuts, which is belongs to Al Wefag’s House Brands, is one of the leading modern food companies in Saudi Arabia.

They have Arabic coffee in the market, and they were preparing to release Turkish and Italian coffee. In addition, they added a new product for coffee options, French coffee. Therefore, they wanted a creative packaging design that is not far from the Arabic packaging theme and makes their products noticeable for the consumers to catch their attention.

____

The design has a pattern inspired by the Saudi carpet style-related directly to the culture. It primarily exists in every house, especially in guest rooms where people pour coffee for their guests, which is a beautiful tradition of Arabic hospitality.

From there, I aimed my design to find a resamples French culture and the traditional feeling of drinking coffee, and make coffee drinkers feel the sensational vibes and get into the atmosphere of drinking a French coffee.
The typical Parisian sense of drinking a coffee is with small cups you drink at outdoor Cafes, restaurants, or balconies while gazing at the beautiful Eiffel tower. Accordingly, this design transforms these sensations to people so they can test the French culture with each coffee sip.

____

The Pattern is mimicking part of the Eiffel tower architecture.
As you see this, the iron pattern of the Eiffel tower has become a global cultural icon of structures in the world, and a recognizable part of French, especially the Parisian culture, and these iconic iron shapes were used as an inspirational form of the pattern design.
