MEMEFEST 2013 visuals FOOD DEMOCRACY

This is a visual identity for Memefest 2013 Friendly competition.

Every years Memefest kolektiv dig up a theme focusing on a socially important topic.

This year topic focuses on FOOD industry, its malversations, bad consequnces to human beings and ecosystems all over the world.

Participants can participate with their creative works in tree categories:

- visual communication practice

I made this poster in collaboration with Oliver Vodeb, the founder of Memefest organization and a professor of Visual communication at Griffith College of Arts/University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. He provided all the images and we made a lot of debates in the working process.

The ingredients for this year dish was:
- 2 kg of images with strong but at the same time open narration
- 6 pieces of vernacular typography normally used in small local groceries
- a pinch or two of supportive texts
and an extra doze of imagination.
