Aunua Academy is an Irish non-profit and global provider of free education for mental health provided by industry leading experts.
In October 2019, I was invited to take part as graphic designer in the projects that are setting the expansion of Aunua Academy for the next few years. With a new website being launched soon, it was the perfect timing for a branding refresh.
Considering that the branding position would stay the same, it was decided not to change its essence, but rather refresh it and perhaps add more meaning to it. For that reason, the depiction of a flower over a head silhouette (which symbolises internal growth) and similarities with the original colour scheme were maintained, while the addition of a second silhouette and the use of negative space brings the sense of community and synergy that are a big part of Aunua's work.
