MERLÍ: SAPERE AUDE
Set in Barcelona, Merlí Sapere Aude is a fictional series following Pol,
a contemporary philosophy student navigating the challenges of university life.
We were commissioned to produce the opening titles for the second season of
this award-winning series. Inspired by the show’s premise of blending familiar characters
with a modern context, we developed visuals that merged contrasting elements:
analog and digital media, classic and contemporary styles,
theoretical and emotional aspects, light and darkness.
Our creative process encompassed the entire sequence, including concept, visual language, storytelling, illustration, composition, and animation, along with filming plan and on-set execution.
