The National Stadium (Bird's Nest) is located in the south of the central area of the Beijing Olympic Park and was the main stadium for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The project covers a total area of 21 hectares, and there are about 91,000 spectator seats in the venue. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic, Paralympic Games, track and field competitions and football match finals were held. After the Olympic Games, it became a large professional place for Beijing citizens to participate in sports activities and enjoy sports and entertainment, and became a landmark sports building and Olympic heritage.
