Designed for my senior project, Frustrated Flyers: flying with the filthy, foolish, offensive is an air travel survival kit inspired by my love of traveling which happens to coincide with my hatred of flying. Having spent over two hundred fifty hours of my life in an airplane, I decided to create a survival kit to help people who have to endure the incredibly annoying scenarios that come with air travel, such as screaming children and chatty neighbors. The kit’s main feature is a swatch card booklet including advice accompanied by my own illustrations and on the back are related tips and activities to help pass the time wisely while stuck on the plane. Other components include: earplugs, luggage tag, air sickness bag, and sleeping mask.
