Wolf's Bane
This was inspired by a scene in the Dungeons & Dragons campaign I'm in. My moon elf cleric, Tdi'or, heard a howling in the night. The party's ranger's wolf companion, Paws, darted out the inn the party was staying at when the heard a howling noise. The ranger, Jaharys, being asleep and in a room, was unaware of this, and so Tdi'or chased her out to make sure she didn't get in to trouble. It was then the two discovered that the inn's keeper, Lithos, transforms into a rather lonely, woeful werewolf in the night. Paws and Tdi'or stayed out with him, giving him a comfort of friendship he had not known in that form for many years.
