Packaging for Bosh
_
Redesign for a Bosh product packaging.
An academic project developed in partnership with the Bosh factory in Ovar, Portugal, during the
Master in Industrial and Product Design in 2018.
It was proposed to replace the styrofoam protective shell with modules made from molded paper pulp.
The currently used expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) material is not easily recyclable,
and the parts used to take up too much space in the factory warehouse.
The proposed modules take up much less space in the factory warehouse due to their low volume and stackability.
The new material requires low investment in molds. It's biodegradable and comes from a recycled source.
