WATCHOUT!, IIT ROORKEE
freshman issue COVER Design:
WatchOut's freshman issue is revolves around the initial experience of the First Yearites( or as we call em' Facchas), cover must focus heavily on what their expectations were and what's the real deal when we talk about our massive and intriguing IIT Roorkee Campus.
Some of my initial sketches showcase what i was going for;
Seeing from the perspective of these facchas, JEE being among the most competitive and harshest engineering exams can also be represented as a War where its the survival of the fittest. Hence the student can be seen pioneering on top of pile of the fallen in this War of JEE!
A Typical dusty battleground with the armor of a Roman Warrior would be a really good to start....

To really give a clear picture of the lengths these 'warriors' have gone to and sacrifices they have made, the battleground can be seen littered with some pretty relatable stuff...
A quick shoutout to the guy saying some mean stuff (incase you missed him)....
Anyways.....mass printing must be done at a nominal rate be it in terms of the number of colors used, and well my cover Design would surely bankrupt this whole News agency to financial ruin....thus some (many) tweaks were made to have a suitable limited colour palette, and thus came by the Final Output:
