Yugos is a construction company with extensive experience and authority. The main objective of the catalog is to emphasize the status of the company and meet its high standards of quality and beauty.

90% of the contents of the catalog are images. When organizing space, we tried to give each object enough air for the viewer to perceive it and help not to get lost among the large amount of visual content. It was also important to avoid monotony in the presentation of objects in order to keep the viewer's interest and attention.

The solution

The two main sections of the catalogue are Design and Construction. We based the organization of these sections on two contrasting compositional principles. Designing, a long creative and thinking process, is expressed through statics: a calm, balanced composition of the sheet, a large number of white. Construction, active process of creation — through dynamics: contrasts of large and small elements, arrangement of images in the edge of the sheet, overlapping of texts on photos, dynamic composition of the sheet and "pulsating" rhythmic organization of the section as a whole.

The integrity of the catalogue is supported by the theme of compositions of branded elements — starting from the folder of the catalogue, it passes through all sections, gradually changing and developing, serving as a certain link, and leads to the final page about the prospects of the company.

Realization

We paid great attention to the production of the catalog, from the choice of paper and printing methods to the subsequent implementation. The Demon Press team produced Swiss bindings, which allow the catalog to be opened completely horizontally and increase the durability of the product. All details of the catalog — a combination of different types of textured paper, letterpress on the cover and bronze embossing on the folder, perfect binding and rich colors of images — work on the embodiment of company’s corporate slogan Yugos "Credibility of solutions".
