I was inspired by electronic music and the phenomenon of acoustic vibration. I wanted to translate it into analogical visual idea. I decided to create color vibration with specific forms of expression.
I used very narrow stripes of clear and bright colours. They are set in a way that creates optical interference and impression of glowing surface.
Pieces are executed with extreme accuracy and care. However, I allowed paint to drip in some spots so it tells you it is a hand painted work.
I also try to incorporate this style into my figurative paintings. For example portraits of music producers or subculture members.
