Like many newlyweds, the purchase of our first home was a bit short on what we imagined our dream home would be. It was outdated and in need of many cosmetic repairs. But it had potential. With a low budget for any immediate renovations, I really had to get creative and apply my own skills to transform those eyesore spaces into happy living quarters.
Eclectic Kitchen
Teal Formica everywhere! Carpet in the kitchen? And a faux cabinet that I would later discover was hiding a brick chimney. It all had to go!
