Album cover for Bad Hagrid's 'Bad Hagrid and The Planet of the Androynites' by Gwil.
Together with Bad Hagrid, we broke down the album and the characters within the lyrics to get an idea on how the cover should look. Through this progress we settled on a colour scheme, character description and then looked for a local Wellington artist that could execute our vision.
We contacted Gwil, a local artist known for his digital art and murals around the city, to do the album cover. Gwil's art style bought our vision and the characters to life, and the overall cover portrays the album and the bands personality perfectly.
