The first Maneki Neko illustration I did changed my life by a chain reaction, allowing me to meet the woman of my life. Since then I was really impressed by that legend and how that very first cat centuries ago had an impact in my life.
I wanted to write a new page of that series by connecting it with the cats legends of our time, the instagram cat celebrities. Each one means something different. I wish I could do many more if the series manage to get exposure. You can follow me on instagram @maxximegirault
