After traveling to Alaska, I found inspiration from Native Alaskan Art. This style typically consists of flat 2-Dimensional shapes, illustrative line work, and a bold contrasting palette that create beautiful compositions that can be seen widely around Alaska. Ranging from very simple to ornate, there seems to be a spirit creature that anyone can relate to. The chameleon is a representation of my personality, a creature with great adaptability, and was created to show my appreciation for the amazing artists of the last frontier.
