This classical book was created in Advanced Problems in Graphic Design I. The project goal was to design a classical book with type illustrations featuring excerpts from James Baldwin's book If Beale Street Could Talk along with three supporting poems from authors of my choosing. My book is called Love in Adversity as I chose excerpts from Baldwin's book that highlight love prevailing through difficult times.

Body copy text is ITC Garamond Std at 9/11 with supporting text in Proxima Nova. All type imagery, textures, and illustrations in this book were created and designed by me.
