Amoeba - 3D Animation

Amoeba documents the isolated existence of a microscopic single celled organism alone in the vast empty expanse of the Petri dish, and what happens when the loneliness becomes too much to bear.

Amoeba was created in 2013 for a MA. Digital Arts final project at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2014 it was was screened at The Stuttgart Trick Film Festival, The Toronto Animation Arts Festival International and The New York Film Festival where it won a Silver World Award in the in the Student Film category.
