Usability Studies
# Studies, Recruiting, Planning
In my role as a UX researcher, I've conducted over 200 usability studies over the last 5 years. Here's a diagram I created to visualize my process.
I've used a variety of tools to create scripts and guides to record what takes place during usability sessions, but my favorite is Handrail UX. I get a running start with a template I've created and customize the sections and questions for the current study.
Handrail does a great job visualizing task results - making it easy for me to share with stakeholders.
I pull insights from the study results and organize them here before creating my presentation to share out the results across our organization.
