The stakeholder’s insight was to create a payroll run process where the user could see at a glance all that was required to do to run a payroll cycle. Taking into account the complexity of some of the steps posed a great challenged. We solved this by creating a list of all the steps and provide hints and respective CTAs on them while abstracting other information away until user was interacting with the step
