Mock Thrasher Cover
Being a skater myself, I have always loved Thrashers magazine covers, so I decided to make one! Using my friend Jesse as a model, I set out to capture the perfect cover!
With the grit and passion that skate culture has, I aimed to highlight the concentration and risk in each trick, and I used tape as the banners for text to reflect the innovated spirit that all skaters share.
From skater to artist, we all grow and grind for our passions. This project helped me see the beauty in not giving up, and the importance of capturing meaning behind each idea.
