This project focuses on healthcare and the healing environment. In teams of 2, we have created an Integrative Medicine Center consisting of seven areas, each with its own requirements. The building is meant to function in a holistic manner and circulation between the areas is supported by our concept.
The design of this building is focused on landmarks that can be found throughout Oregon. From the Rocky
Mountains to the Pacific Ocean, there is a variety of nature and landscapes. These various landmarks are reflected throughout the Oregon Landmark Integrative Medicine Center. By using hues of reds, greens, blues, and purples, the center creates a calming and relaxing atmosphere that also encourages activity and energy. The four main landmarks that can be seen throughout the space include the Columbia River Gorge, Heceta Head Lighthouse, the Rocky Mountains, and the International Rose Test Garden. These landmarks encourage strength and revitalization through a soothing environment, which is similar to how the Oregon Landmark Integrative Medicine Center operates. Nature and the outdoors promote a sense of freedom, while also allowing a person to feel in control of their mind and body. This space focuses on bringing these elements indoors to allow visitors to be refreshed by similar emotions and feelings.
Concierge Render
This area welcomes guests into the building. The concierge is available to greet visitors and direct them throughout the space.

Public Area Render
This space includes a Resource/Education area, access to the healing garden, entrance into the retail store, the Landmark Cafe and seating, and a lounge area next to the fireplace.

Healing Garden
The Healing Garden was created for patients and guests to enjoy the outdoors. A water fountain with lounge chairs can be found in this area, as well as tables and chairs underneath the trellis.

Manual and Touch Suite Render
This suite provides a relaxing atmosphere while patients prepare for acupuncture, chiropractic, or massage appointments.

Patients feel a sense of movement and motivation when they enter this area. The bright, vibrant colors encourage guests to workout and be healthy.

Bright colors promote activity throughout this space. The natural light from the curtain wall inspires visitors to work hard while being in touch with nature and the outdoors.

Family Practice Suite Render
This space provides a fun atmosphere for people of all ages. The aquariums mounted in the wall function as a positive distraction and are meant as a relaxation tool for individuals entering the exam area.
