Lake Correntoso

Lake Correntoso is part of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, the oldest national park in Argentina and the largest in South America. It is located in the Northwestern part of the Argentine Patagonia, in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, near the Chilean border, and it covers an area of 7,050 km2 (2,720 sq mi). It is a gorgeous stretch of pristine forests, unspoiled lakes, and permanently snow-capped mountains.

El Lago Correntoso es parte del complejo del Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, el primer parque nacional fundado en Argentina y el más grande del continente Sur Americano. Está situado en el Noroeste de la Patagonia Argentina, en la base de la cordillera andina, cerca da la frontera con Chile, y cobre un área de 7,050 km2 (2,720 sq mi). Es una región bellísima, cubierta de florestas vírgenes, lagos impolutos, y picos nevados.
