It all started with BloombergQuint's managing editor Menaka Doshi, requesting the video team to make a series which shows how things are made, what is the manufacturing process of making them. My boss Rohit Pathak sat on the idea for 6 months and never gave me a go ahead to work on it. It was only when both Menaka and I pestered him with my research list of a number of factories we could cover, is when RP green lit it. And once we started, there was no ending. We made incessant calls to humongous production line companies as well as small unorganized units to get shooting permissions. The real struggle was the edit. Showing a tedious manufacturing process that would take anytime between 4 hours to a month, in 2-3 minutes was a task. It was THE TASK. But we weren't going to give up. We made the first video and proudly named the series - 'Made in India'. We thought ki Modi ji ki behti ganga mein hum bhi kuch viral kara dein. Moreover, the title was apt. After all, every manufacturing process was happening in India. 

I would list down potential companies and products we could cover, directed the shoots, wrote scripts, structured the edits, supervised the packaging and edits. Watch away!
