PUBLIC STREET ART IN Yekaterinburg, Russia
THE JUMP
THE JUMP
What Kind of Project it is:
This wall shows a predatory animal, a sable. When I thought to draw such a sable, I looked at the coat of arms of the Sverdlovsk region. And I chose a sable. Here he catches grouse chicks. But it's not really that important. He is jumping for his prey. I think it is clear: he will catch her. But from the opposite side we can already see the next link in the natural chain. These are the claws of an eagle that is about to catch the sable. It's an animal cycle, a natural selection. It seems to me that this is not only the case in the animal world. In fact, it's a pretty simple picture with a little naive and yet deep meaning about our lives.
