This is a concept book that focuses on the inventor of album cover art, Alex Steinweiss. The design of this book incorporates themes from Steinweiss’s early designs which helps convey the history of the album cover and Steinweiss’s impact on this industry.
The design is simplistic so that it doesn’t take away from Steinweiss’s work featured in the book. The typefaces and color palette were inspired by a combination of his album covers.
