Classic Movies for Classic Moments (Turner Classic Movies Network)

TCM has found that people between the ages of 20 to 30 years old (Millennials and 
Gen Z) have lost touch with watching classic movies. In order to connect the younger generation to classic movies and bring a higher viewing to TCM, we found a way to make TCM more relatable to today's society. 

The world today is drawn to technology, specifically phones and social media outlets. 
We found that majority of the population communicates through text messages and uses memes, gifs, and hashtags to portray a relatable mood. 

With this, we took iconic scenes from classic films and turned them into gifs within daily text messages shared between family and peers. Using comedic messages with today's slang and gifs, we aimed to create funny and relatable moments. 

#TCMood was a hashtag created to use after a TCM gif as a way to convey an individual's current mood (#-TCM-mood). People are also encouraged to use TCM gifs and the hashtag in their daily communication through texts and posting their variation of comical conversations on all social media platforms with #TCMood; building a large sharing base of funny relatable moments for people to laugh about and share with their colleagues.

Furthermore, TCM can then post people's funny text messages from the #TCMood data base and showcase them as ads on bus shelter stations and subway stations at real time.

Thus making Turner Classic Movies a hot topic of discussion and once again relatable in this day and age.
