I started this side project following a discussion about existing beer apps and their pros and cons. Especially the fact that most of them had a lot of functionalities and weren't always UX-friendly. 
The goal here, was to imagine an app which only purpose would be to identify and rate beers and breweries. The main audience is, of course, craft beer lovers and connoisseurs who doesn't need anything else than keeping track of their taste and beer discoveries. I tried to make it free from superfluous functionalities in order for the user to focus on what matter the most to him when he use the app: fast and easy beer tracking and identification.
Pintje is a Dutch term, also used in Belgium. It's a diminutive of "pint".
