Initially I was drawn to the modular typeface, Fregio Mecano. With geometric blocks used to construct each character, it felt heavy, raw, and industrial so it coupled nicely with a colossal ship spouting smoke over the ocean. The stylised circle from the Bifur vignettes reminded me of a horizon view with the sea in the foreground. It was at this point I decided my design was going to carry an environmental message.
