MONSTERS
Created for Migrate Magazine’s ‘Secret’ issue.
Depicting the obsessive compulsive tendencies that can often feel like monsters inside of us. Whether things don't go the way we plan, or we feel lost, frightened, or worried that others don't approve of us, these illustrations aim to depict the vulnerability and self-consciousness that can come with these tendencies.
Even though they appear rather sketchy, they're filled with intricate details and patterns. They were created with pen and ink and given some digital colour and texture for a mixed media look.
