For Advertising class, we had to pick a company and market them with a billboard ad, a single page spread, and a double page spread. Myself and my team put this together based on the new American Airlines. American Airlines has recently rebranded themselves with the help of Futurebrand. They are changing just about everything from the livery on the plane to the seats inside. It was a great project and I really enjoyed getting to know all of the little details that went into this redesign. Our campaign was based on the attention to detail that went into making the flight more refined and enjoyable for everyone, but especially business and first class. With that in mind we focused on business travellers and higher class customers; people who would be willing to pay for those nicer luxuries that are not necessarily offered by our competition. So, without further ado, welcome to the new American.
