This video created for BigIron Auctions is a story about how the passage of time in rural communities is measured in "seasons". This can be as literal as the harvest and planting season in farming, or allude to more complex themes dealing with various stages of rural life, such as a young farm kid growing up and having to decide to leave the farm. Creating this video was a fun, albeit time consuming process that involved crawling in the dirt, climbing on equipment, and and chasing down cows to get that perfect shot. Photos were collected from our customers, and I spent time using the photos in interactive video shots in various farm scenes. I wrote the script for the narration myself (which was then shortened into a more concise version by an editor). The video was used in a paid promotional campaign on social media. This project personally meant a great deal to me on a personal level as a farmer's daughter.
