Digitalisation and the world of tomorrow

Comic
World of Tomorrow
Twelve is the name of an annually released image-magazine from worldwide operating agency group of Serviceplan. 2018 I was asked to write kind of a science fiction comic-story to the fascinating topic of "Digitalisation" and how it effects all our lives and workaday lifes. After writing the plot for the fifth issue of the magazine I illustrated the whole story for all twelve chapters and many more articles in collaboration with some cool people from Serviceplan. I´m proud to have worked on this project, whose printed result was still pleasing me substainiously.

Above: The story I developed takes place in a cosy bar in some modern not named megacity. The "Heroes" are Bar-Boss Kiki, famous Ex-Boxing-Legend Mark and some funny minor characters.

Above: A vision of helping hands in the near future. Will household- and nanny-robots come?

Above: Artificial Intelligence has the ability for deep learning. In my story the AI is the emotional robot "Singh", who works as a bartender in "Kiki´s Bar". He´s on his way through a lot of bars to learn deeply from his human colleagues about mixing and doing smalltalk to barflys. In the end Singh is goddamn drunk and learned primarily much about hangovers.

Above: In China people manage their lifes with voice control. Nobody there suppose to be afraid of beeing tracked by any evil huge Company, like users in Europe.

Above: Artist Fred is one of the barflys in "Kiki´s Bar", who is trying to fix his visions with the help of Virtual Reality. I did this one in full colour, to symbolize the difference between VR and real Life. Rest of TWELVE magazine was printed in black and additional colour silver.

Above: It´s an open secret to the guests of "Kiki´s Bar" that Fred is head over heels in love with Kiki, who doesn´t share the feelings of poor Fred. So he act out his feelings for her in Virtual Reality. If Kiki recurringly recognizes that Fred did it again, he has to bring him back into real life with drastic actions more than once.

Above: The Voice of brand management gets louder.

Above: Wait... was it real? In the end it´s a Goodbye, but not a farewell forever.
