Logo Design: Corny Kettlers
Corny Kettlers is an independent craft kettle corn maker in Forest, Virginia. They make an excellent product and can be found at Farmer's Markets and local events in the Lynchburg/Forest region.
I was contacted to produce a logo for their company. They had two specific requests. First, they needed the logo to incorporate the Blue Ridge Mountains, a local landmark. Second, it was requested that the logo play off the breed & names of the owner's dogs.
The two dogs are named Redick and Moose. Redick is an Alaskan Malamute and Moose is a German Shepherd. The logo represents the two with the silhouettes of a wolf-like dog and a moose. The first three design revisions are above.
The final design features the moose and wolf silhouettes filled in white. They are placed over a field with ascending shades of blue to represent the Blue Ridge Mountains. The logo is outlined in a black stroke.
The logo was printed and installed on the company trailer by FASTSIGNS of Forest - Lynchburg.
