In the last days, I decided to retouch some of my old work in blender. I'm still a novice in the magic world of 3d, but in the last year, I made significant improvements in my work. So I took this old render called "Checkmate to the queen".
The title was a non-sensical phrase for the meaning of the render:
the original story was much darker and sad compared to the latest version, and the idea behind was depression for someone lost, the sensation of loneliness and the non-acceptance of death; the colour scheme was much darker and blueish.

The new version with better lighting (IMHO) and a better composition has a much happy story. This time the couple is happy, they are sleeping, and the chessboard is left on the table cause they were too tired the evening before.
