An open ended project, this CD package began with nothing more than an assigned musical genre. Jazz was the focus of this package design. The concept includes self-shot photography featuring a jazz artist smoking outside a colorfully lit club and later, sitting in his lower Manhattan apartment. Lots of blue tones and distorted photography lend themselves to a gritty, underground feel and the smoke throughout evokes old jazz and blues clubs.
