Technology and nature
Tekna – The Norwegian Society of Graduate Technical and Scientific Professionals, an association where members have a Master's degree in one of the STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subjects. Ambitious members who work hard every day to solve society's challenges through innovation and new technology.
The starting point for the redesign was a renewal of Tekna's logo. This was redesigned to enhance the symbolism of the logo - a waterfall as the image of nature's power and technology's ability to extract energy from it. Technology and nature - both equally important for a technical and scientific association like Tekna. With this as a starting point, we designed a font that draws inspiration from the logo's angles and shapes and works as a core element in the visual identity.
