I've always loved the iconic silhouette and eerily clean lines of the 1937 Auto Union Streamliner. Having briefly worked in Potsdam, I became more keenly aware of the legendary races held on the nearby Avus road track - flat out through brick-built banked ovals and kilometer long straights. With this project, I took the opportunity to imagine what streamline racecars could perhaps look like a century on from their heyday.
