2010 - RH Booking Site

Since Hoteles RH's continuous growth in online sales was in sync with their commitment to provide the best booking experience online, we were commissioned with an ambitious project that required me to overhaul all their reservations site. The overall booking experience had to be fast, easy and clear. This supposed a big challenge in regards of UX given the huge amount of products that were offered along with their basic accomodation services. Providing a crisp and non overwhelming or confusing browsing experience was definitely a hard one. The figures proved later on that we succeed in such commitment.
The user was given the chance to configure up to 4 different types of accomodations per request, combining different room and group options.
In case the hotel of choice had no availability for the desired dates the user wanted then he was given the chance to check real-time availability in order to shift either way his dates or even was offered the chance to check availability in other hotels located at the same destination.
If availability was granted for the given dates and rooms, the user was required to fill out the form below with his customer and payment details. I was not fairly disagree with this approach and I would have rather designed a single form/page with all the input fields hidden by default, sliding them into the screen as the user advanced in his journey. The client was not happy with this solution though and this approach was disregarded in the final UI.
Please note above nd below how the user could customize his reservation selecting different room types and additional services such as concert tickets in  a clear, non disruptive way.
On every step the user was given the chance to return back and correct any wrong/uncomplete data.
Once the reservation was accomplished the user received both a rich-formatted email with his online voucher and a SMS message notifying him about his booking ID.
 
Besides going through his booking information, customers could use the site to notify their own contacts with useful details about his holiday.
