The goal of this project was to increase brand awareness for the Tamarack Lodge in Ketchum, ID, by adding personalization to email communication and social platforms. The lodge specializes in all-year activities for everyone, so I wanted to represent age and ethnic diversity. All the gifs provide a unique glimpse into the adventures awaiting at this all-season lodge.

I was faced with the challenge of building out illustrative gifs for a young brand, since the visual direction was so pliable, it was an adventure to figure out what style to achieve. In the end, I came up with a rugged, hand-drawn look that could be mass-duplicated and visually scalable, while showing a light-hearted side. The biggest constraint was size, so I had to simplify the details to make the designs mobile friendly (for email footers). The biggest reward was bringing these pieces to life and bringing in some fun tree-puns.
